Nov 8 - The NBA's longest active sellout streak officially ended at Arco Arena Tuesday with the Kings setting a home opener low for Arco, as well as recording the league's worst attendance for a home opener this season.

The announced attendance of 14,908 ended the Kings' streak of 354 consecutive sellouts dating back to Nov. 26, 1999. Arco seats 17,317. -- Sacramento Bee

Sad news for the Kings. The fans trying to tell the organization that unless they change the current team, they won't go to games.

Petrie needs to be fired IMO. Hasn't done anything for the past 3 years.

It is because they have the 6th highest price tickets in the league and a non playoff team for the second year in a row.

All of the fair-weather fans who would pay lots of money to go to Arco because it was the hip thing to do aren't going anymore, and all of the real fans are priced out of the game.

What do you expect -- we'll win like 30 games this year and all we have of value is Bibby, KMart, and a couple of young guys (Douby and Garcia) IMO. The rest is a bunch of scrubs and Artest.
