It's hard to have sympathy for the writers. I tried to hire one to write a few pages of story line for a video game I was working on, and his going rate was $750/hr. He had written for some decent shows, but wasn't a full-time writer for any of them, so I figure the regular guys get even more.
I'm a bit happy. I don't really have time to watch tv regularly this year, so it would of been hard to keep up with 24 for 24 weeks. Jumped the shark? Possibly, but I'll wait till next season before officially saying it.
I'm sorry I don't really follow the show, but I'll ask this anyway: So why exactly is this show at the point of jumping the shark? Just curious.
Because season 7 was very similar to season 2, both having to do with a nuclear attack. And perhaps less excitement opposed to other seasons. I seriously forgot most of season 6. It's been a while since I watched it.
I thought the thread was about the 7th or 24th season of Jeopardy had problems due to writer's strike.
