"All Day" is doing pretty damn well right now. He's having a season no other rookie, and is up there for best season for any RB yardage wise. Where would rate him compared to ther backs int he league? Behind LT, LJ?
I think the fact that the Vikes have no passing game or QB makes what he's doing even more impressive.

Damn, this is like Cowboy fans and there love of Tony Romo. WAIT! I know the guy is good, but I need more time to see if he is even in the same breath as LT or Fast Willie.
Please dont missunderstand this as me hateing him, or becouse I hate the Vikes. I just want to see if he can hold up for 16 games and more then one season.

Trust me, i dont consider him the best. Fans the media are all ovre his sack. I want to see what people here think.

I wouldn't say hes the best because from the games i have seen him play he isn't the greatest blocker and he doesn't have the catching ability that players like LT have. But dude is 1st in almost all rushing catagories. He is averging 6.6 yards a carry (1st) he has 1036 yards (1st and only one to break 1000 thus far) and 8th in attempts. He is number 8 rushing td (1st) and he has 5 100 yard games (tied with parker for 1st). But with all this said he has fumbled the ball 3 times leading the league. soo is he the best, idk yet you know hes only player 8 games(?). Does he deserve to be in the pro ball? If Young did last year he does this year. Idk again I wouldn't say he is the best just yet, but I'm sure one day he will be (God forbid an injury).

He's having the best season of any RB ths year. I would need another year before I would put him with Tomlinson at the top of the list. That said, I don't think there are any other RBs I would take over him.

Right now, he is.That being said, he might not make the Hall, he may only have 5 seasons, with his agressive running.

Well, maybe he is the best. Like you said Fred... look at the Vikings. What would LT be doing if Tavaris Jackson were handing him the ball? I can't name a single Vikes receiver. To be producing the way he's producing under those circumstances is pretty damn amazing.

He's definately 1 of the top RB's already. He hasn't played enough games to take LT's crown yet so I won't go that far, but after that he is in that next group of great backs.

1. LT
2. Adrian Peterson
3. Larry Johnson
4. Joseph Addai
5. Willie Parker

Don't forget that Larry Johnson doesn't exactly have a great QB handing him the ball either.

I remember Bo Jackson playing for the Raiders. While he didn't play for very long due to his hip injury, while he did play, he showed he was surely the best running back who ever played, IMO. He was big and track star fast; he could take a bunch of hits and then he'd be gone. He was a real threat to break one all the way every time he touched the ball.

QUOTE (Fred)

Brown was having his first good season and of course he got injured. Sucks for him

Yea, that's true. But looking forward towards next season, I think he definitely deserves to be up in that list.

Ronnie Brown was leading the lead in total yardage until he got hurt. He definitely deserves to be on the list. I think he is the best (but I hate LT with a passion, so I'm biased).

It makes sense now.

QUOTE (Fred)

what? barber? that guy splits time lol. no way is he a better back overall than LJ

I'm sorry are talking about who's better, or carries? By your criteria I could hand the ball off to a 3 year old kid 100 times, and he would be the best back in the NFL

LJ best season is like all of Barber's season's combined. Barber isn't even the full time starter. I dont see how its comparable. Only a relative of barber or a homer cowboys fan would believe that
