If someone could tell me where the quote function is that would be nice.
http://chicagosports.chicagotribune.com/sp...bulls-headlines
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
The Bulls' slow start is affecting more than their anemic shooting percentage and the standings. It's affecting the rotation.
Although he played slightly more Thursday night, Andres Nocioni could be the odd man out at times. "There is something wrong with certain guys' psyches who are playing, so it becomes difficult to go to some of the normal things you do," coach Scott Skiles said. "One of them is playing 'Noce' at the four. That's where he has the most success. But to do that, other guys who are struggling have to come out of the game. And you would like them to have success." Nocioni finished with 10 points and seven rebounds in 16 minutes against the Pistons after playing just 10 minutes against the Clippers. He is shooting 39 percent overall and 19 percent on three-pointers. "I've been terrible," Nocioni said.
...

Final word
Skiles chastised some media reports for falsely portraying a rift between himself and Joakim Noah. Skiles had said Wednesday that Noah, as a rookie, should keep his mouth shut about what's ailing the Bulls. "That's the kind of thing that makes someone like me not really like most [reporters] to be honest," Skiles said. "I said it in a very light-hearted manner, just taking a little jab at the rookie. So I had to call Joakim this morning and make it perfectly clear that I want him to say whatever he wants to say. I love his personality. And really for one of the first times since I've been here, I felt I was treated unfairly [by the media]."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Welcome to S2 rwj.
use these for when making quotes, [ quote ] comment here [ /quote ] without the spaces.

Someone is going to be the odd man out, as was outlined on the other site.
Its a shame it has to be nocioni. It *should* be Ben Wallace, but we all know how that would look.

Glad to see you rwj
Like Celtic said about the quote function. It's one of the things we're working on a better solution to.
--------------------
Regarding the Bulls, Noc seems really slow this year and he doesn't seem to be doing as much of the "Noc stuff" he did in past years. It's like he's turned into Tracy Murray or something. I don't know what the deal is, but maybe less PT will change his attitude a bit.

Not surprising. It's clear he's not the same player. Plus he's shooting way too damn much. He even admits he's playing terrible. Could the weight loss be affecting his play?

I'm wondering about several things:
* New contract
* Less weight
* Foot still hurting?
I wouldn't have thought the new contract would change a guy like him, but I was a little bit ticked off after getting to see him in person at the home opener. Literally every time he made a shot he was pumping his fist and preening like some kind of pro-wrestler. I mean, it's one thing to get the crowd fired up, but he was going a bit overboard. And we were losing and otherwise he wasn't playing particularly well. It irritated me.

What I wonder about is his foot. Even if it's healed fully, he might still favor it - AND - he basically had a very long layoff during the season last year and the offseason. He did play just a few games in the playoffs, but looked rusty.
What I'm getting it is this. Remember how bad Chandler played after sitting out the summer he got married and without a new contract?

I was suprised to see so many people saying the Nocioni has been playing poorly. While not spectacular, I think he's been OK to this point. HisPER is 14.71 to this point, indicating an average NBA performance. Big Ben and Thabo are the real dogs of this group.
He's noticably smaller. Its going to be tough to get PF minutes with that frame, nor should be get those minutes given the nice play from TT and Joe Smith.
