I can't get the NFL Network because of a dispute between Time Warner and the NFL(over money btw), and now I can't see the Magic games because of a dispute between Fox and Time Warner(and their subsidiary Bright House)....I'm getting damn sick of getting screwed out of watching the channels I pay for(I have the top tier premium cable package, I can't pay them more)....Millionaires arguing with millionaires is sickening anyway, but doing so in a way that prevents me from watching my teams is pissing me off something royal....when does this end? Time Warner has a freaking cable monopoly here so I don't have other options except DirecTv and if I go that way, I can't get high speed internet....so I can watch the Magic and live in prehistoric times or skip those games and live in modern times....someone step up and work this crap out....

Wow, that blows dude. I pay a lot for cable but I get at least two ball games and a hockey game a night.

Hmm... that's concerning, when I move into my new house in a few months I'm gonna have Brighthouse too. And I'm pathologically afraid of the Dish.

My area is spoiled. IO's been pretty good to us, gave us YES for free, for some reason (We have family pack or something, we shouldn't get it. No box).
I can see all my team's games, except the Bengal's but then again, not much to see.

It's the same thing with the Big Ten Network and crappy comcast. Neither will budge, so comcast subscribers are left without an option. With the B10 basketball season coming up I'm pissed

I think you can get a Dish for TV and just pay the cable company for internet.
Directv is starting to look really awesome, even compared to Cox which has been outstanding since I moved here to Vegas.

I have comcast here in western mass. and its been pretty good so far. Had time warner cable when I used to live in nebraska. (much cheaper imo)

I just hooked up the sports package with NBATV, NFL Network, CSTV, and a bunch of other channels that I'll never watch. It's sweet.

That sucks though, beef.

the local phone company doesnt have internet on my part of town yet, so thats not an option....I had DirecTv and liked it, but I like cable better because of the on demand programming....if they would just settle this disputes so I can get the games I want, Id be a cable fan forever

we switched to Dish network because they got rid of our favorite network MSG, it showed all teh rangers games. Cable felt that SNY (Mets) was more important and replaced it with that. So now we have Dish and get MSG but still have to ordfer the hockey plan for 150 games because they still block some of the games on MSG. We finally see all our games but that sure a lot of trouble just to wan t to watch my Rangers!
