Nice run by the Nets at the end, the Celtics showed signs of wear late in the second game of a back-to-back. Sean Williams looked pretty freakish out there, though.

This loss leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. If you really look at it, the Celtics were just better than us in the 3rd quarter. Other than that, we really kept it close.

But right now, I'm concerned with VC. It might be a straightforward sprain, but any injury can be costly.

Agree, he didn't do anything in the whole entire game.

Except make a few shots I guess. Good game though, was very exciting at times.

My take on the Celtics is that they are the best team in the east by far.

I like how they are playing but you can't expect them to play this good all year long, no team is this dominant for a whole season. I think they will come out of the east though.

And remember we played without our 2nd best defender in Posey and without Veal, which you Nets fans seem to like. lol

Great game, and we're still undefeated.

Now tell me, who here makes great sigs, I needs two of them made for my friends Jigga and Black Republican. [IMG]

Imagine if Carter played the whole way and if Krstic played well. We only lost by 11 counting those 2 factors, the next game will be much closer.

They can't play their starters 40 minutes plus the entire season, but they are sick, it's so hard to defend them on offense and Pierce got open too many times.

Nets have to figure a way to score on this team, not an awful showing, but they have to score.

I would be pissed if I were a Nets fan. The Celtics were on the bad end of a back to back with two of their main reserves out (andtheir bench is supposed be be horrible, even with them). I, as a Celtics fan, thought the Nets were going to win tonight. I don't know why so many of you guys are comfortable with the loss.

Because you lost Posey and Veal, and we lost Vince Carter. And then we cut it to single digits before the intentional fouling started. See you next week

Blah, were used to slow starts in the season, I'll take a 4-2 start.

Vince going down and Sean Williams impressing for the 2nd time makes the loss go to the back burner a bit. I'm still pissed because we could have taken this if it wasn't for that horrible 3rd. Good game though.

Two big IFs. If Carter played, Armstrong woudn't have hit two big threes, nor would Williams produce the same results. We played better without VC, because we moved the ball more. Even with the new offense, had Carter been on the floor, the offense would have been much more stagnant.

But what will the Nets do differently? Sure, they couldn't score in the 3rd, but they were totally on fire in the 1st and couldn't pull away. It's all well and good to saythe Nets aregoing to beat them, but based on what we saw tonight, how will they approach it differently?
