Krstic should be off the bench, he should start from the bench, and score over the scrubs.

But should Krstic continue to play against other starters? Would be it better for him offensively and defensively to come in and play against 2nd unit guys until he gets his rhythm back?

Sean Williams was nice today. He did a better job against Garnett than I thought. And going back to preseason he's also been the most active, energetic big for the Nets. I don't mind seeing him get a start and see how he does playing with the starters and see how good Kidd can make him look. I guess he'll make his mistakes but the pay off could the experience he gains and what it could mean for the Nets later on in the seasons.

It will be more fun watching him than watching Collins and Magloire miss or get their shots blocked in the paint.

Krstic is looking like a child out ther with the likes of KG and co. Let him build his confidence up by playing against backup big men and ease him into the starting role. It's a big rush for him right now.

I completely agree. I think Collins + S. Williams would work very well together for reasons that I've said before, while I've long had my doubts about Collins + Krstic. Collins doesn't play very much, however, and they should take Collins and Williams out simultaneously. Once healthy, Krstic would obviously play more than either Collins or Williams, but I'd continue to play him off the bench.

I don't know if I can take a whole season of watching Collins AND Magloire missing or getting their shots blocked around the rim. Has Magloire caught a pass off a pick and roll and finished yet? Wait, has he even managed to catch a pass off a pick and roll?

NO! I DON'T WANT COLLINS STARTING EVER AGAIN!!! HE'S SOO BAD!! HE WOULD NEVER EVEN PLAY ON MOST OF THE OTHER TEAMS IN THE LEAGUE!! I GUESS I WOULD BE ALRIGHT WITH COLLINS AND SEAN TOGETHER EVEN THO COLLINS IS A JOKE BUT I WOULD ONLY DO THAT IF SEAN CONTINUES TO SCORE LIKE HE DID AGAINST BOSTON CUZ WE CAN'T AFFORD TO PLAY 3 ON 5.

it looks like this was Swat's proving game, he proved that he can hold KG, one of the elite, on defense, and have some sweet chemistry with JKidd on offense. the way he was running and jumping and catching that ball looked like he was a damn football player! with that said, I'd like to see him be the first big off the bench and perhaps work his way into starting postion during certain games mid-late season, and definitly be a starter next season.

Starting Sean could maybe make Magloire and Allen work harder? I sure wouldn't be too happy with a 21 year old lanky center beating me out.

    Just my thoughts.

If we start Sean our bench is going to take a serious hit. Not to mention he could get into early foul trouble and be rendered ineffective for the rest of the game. I presonally feel that him starting the game from the bench can give him a better idea of what he's up against and what we need from him when he gets in there. I don't know why we need to throw him right into the starting lineup, and especially not at the expense of Collins as some are suggesting, when our bench clearly needs a game changer off of it and he can still play meaningful minutes to boot. He's the perfect guy to have on the floor as the starters return at the midway point in the second to keep the energy going(much like Hassan did) to along with Wright, Kidd, and RJ. Nenad is doing fine in the starting lineup he just needs to be more involved offensively and put in better places to succeed.

You guys are all mini-Franks. Sean clearly outplayed every of our bigs last night and it's not as if any of our bigs infront of Sean are dominating right now. Why not start him and see what he does? You guys act as if he's the next Wright and his confidence will be shattered or assume he'll have a bad night. What if he has a good game and energizes this team?

Um. I'm gonna be silly and say that this kid should start. He should get used to it asap. Give him some starting time, a bit to start the third and get him in as a closer.
He is our best prospect at that position. Nenad Kristc is not ready for prime time, good things will happen if we let Williams start.

Plus, if Krstic comes off the bench, and we maintain that throughout the season, his contract value might drop a few million,

Krstic, Williams, Jefferson, Nachbar and Kidd should start. Wright can sub for Nachbar and Jefferson.

I agree, I think we should bench Krstic, he needs to start from the Bench.

Let's start Sean or Magloire. Josh ... sigh.

I do not expect Sean to start. Not with Frank. But I hope he gets his PT on the regular basis.
