S2 is best viewed with Firefox. It makes heavy use of javascript, so be sure to enable it, or you may find many features (like quick reply and PMs) don't work.</p> The heavy use of javascript is a bleeding edge technology thing, FWIW.</p> Welcome to S2!</p>
Denny, this isn't a complaint. But what are the plans in store for changing the physical look of the board. I don't think it's just a question of getting used to the look. The black on the sides is a pretty harsh contrast to the red grey and blue. It may all be just a little too complex? Have you received much feedback about this?</p>
Some things I would add.</p> Lose the control you have for text entry. Its no good.</p> Add a quote feature for replies (maybe its there and I have not seen it)</p> Make the login button active before the page is fully parsed and loaded. It takes too long.</p> Most people use IE. They are not going to switch to Firefox to access this site.</p> Get rid of all the white space at the top of the page. I want a clear navigation to get back to the Bulls board when I've viewing a thread.</p> </p> I like a lot of the features. The Sportsticker updating the threads automatically is cool ( i assume its automatic). The list of users viewing a forum updating via AJAX is nice.</p> </p>
I have Firefox, but 60 to 70% of unique colors on websites do not appear correct if at all, so I tend to use IE or my Yahoo explorer.</p>
I use Flock and I don't see anything that would make me use IE. Of course, this is a Mozilla engine under the hood.</p>
I think all of these things are being addressed. The site has 50,000+ lines of javascript!
