With Nationalelf boss Joachim Loew apparently unwilling to select players who can't hold down first team places, the 38 year old stopper is now considering his options. The veteran 'keeper told Kicker magazine, "Given what the Germany coach says, I will have to see how things are in December. "I definitely want to play at Euro 2008. Playing there has always been my aim." Lehmann has voiced his displeasure at being left out of the Emirates XI time and again, but knows that there's still time to turn it around. He added, "The situation is as it is. It is only important what the manager decides and I am using this phase to train intensively every day. "The manager knows I am highly motivated. I would like to play again soon and expect that I will do. "I would be very surprised if that was not the case." His coach, Arsene Wenger, also played down the prospect of a move. "f the situation is still like this in January we will see," shrugged the Frenchman. "We are still in November. November and December is plenty of time to win his place back. "He is up for the challenge because he is 200% professional." Should Lehmann opt to move on, a trip back him to Germany seems the most likely scenario, but it may not be to a top-tier club. "The Bundesliga is always attractive and is an option, and maybe the German second division is too," he insisted. Lehmann arrived at Arsenal from Borussia Dortmund in 2003.
