Play it safe and keep him out a week maybe two. Sounds like a lot but we saw what rushing back does to an ankle.

I hate to say it but we knew this was part of the risk going into the seasonso for now its all up to Antoine Wright to carry some of the load

QUOTE (Netsfan801)

How long does this injury usually take to recover?

As far as I know, you just have to stay off your feet for like a week and then you're fine, but being active (on the anbkle) delays healing indefinitely.

I have a high ankle sprain or strained ligaments in my lower leg or something like that. It happened in the middle of last week. If I go another day without running I will go crazy. I am going to run my regular route tomorrow, and Vince will play by the end of the week. The key is just to convince yourself that pain is actually ecstacy. I figure that after I run for a miile or two, it'll loosen up and I'll be able to put some pressure on it. If I'm wrong, well, I'll have a lot of walking to do. I suspect that Vince feels the same way.
