Ever since the pair were drafted in the first 3 picks of the 2003 draft, it was obvious that any time they met for the next era of basketball it would mean a mouth-watering matchup. I expect tonight to be no different, as the two of them enter the game ranked 4th and 5th in scoring. It would shock me if the two did not produce 50 points between them, in a show of physical power, technical ability and desire. This is a matchup between two of the premier Small Forwards in the NBA at present, and I truly do not expect the duo to disappoint.

Iverson has the speed and quickness to beat even the toughest on-ball defender, and then he has options in Kenyon Martin and Carmelo Anthony, especially, to give it to to make the buckets. Or, he can keep it, which is usually just as effective. In a nutshell, if the Nuggets push the tempo (a recurring theme on the West Coast road trip) they should be able to defeat the Cavs.
