collins played well actually till the 4th quarter. He being in the game was more frank's fault than Collins.

You guys treat Collins like he's a fucking kid. He's a big, how is it Frank's fault that he can't grab a rebound over a 6' guard? Should Collins have been in the game? No but he was and it's his onus to play like a big man.

Where did i say it was Frank's fault that Collins cant play offense? I said it was Frank who left Collins in there even though he was stinking it up in the fourth.

If anything, i blame MOSTLY Frank for this loss. Allen played too much, Magliore was for one reason or another a no show, RJ had barely any touches in the fourth, and the last play was simple enough for the Hornets to figure out and stop.

We have to be the only team in the league that starts TWO 7 FOOTERS and can't even grab a rebound.. Not to take away from Kristic tho b/c he's comming back from injury but Collins has no excuse. The only reason I wouldn't cut Collins is for team moral in the locker room but I wouldn't play him more than 2 garbage minutes to give fouls.

By the way why the hell did we get rid of Byron Scott after he took us to the Finals?

You know so many complained about our bigs not grabbing rebounds last year but yet we averaged more rebounds than half the league last year. Rebounding isnt the key issue on this team. It is sometimes bad but it isnt a big weakness.

Because we were playing badly the last year he coached for us, Kidd wanted him fired, he wasnt that good of a coach(the finals run he had two great assistant coaches and a lineup that was great for the princeton offense), etc...

I disagree. Who gets the rebounds matters. Without a big pulling 'em in, Kidd has to crash instead of getting out to lead the break. Also, if we want to move up, hovering around average doesn't help.

Guys before we throw Krstic in to the mix lets keep in mind that he had a double double tonight, and showed great improvement.

He didn't call for that shot (2nd to last possession).

I dont know if you know him, but seanet from bbf.com explained why Kidd getting the ball sooner/rebound was a positive. If i can find the specific post where i read that, i'll copy and paste it here.

Again though, rebounding isnt a big isssue or at least isnt the biggest issue imo. I think Collins paired with a leaper/rebounding machine would work very well since Collins always does a great job at boxing out the other team' best big, leaving room for our other guys to snatch it. And again, i blame MOSTLY Frank for this loss, not the team(not as much)

Collins has done more bad than good. The guy is 7ft, being paid what, 11 mill a year?! What has he done? Can't jump, misses layup's, can't shoot, can't rebound, basically, the guy can't play! I don't care if he sets the best picks in the NBA, get him out!

OK, then from now on, we can not attack any players, because his sucking due to the coach just plays him.

What a good logic, can we call JCB the king of logic ?

Thats the reason why I want Magloire to take the starting C spot, he can just do more than this guy.

Part of me thinks that if Frank were really rightously keeping Magloire out of the game because of the line up, he would have played a Boki-Sean front court more than he did.

The other part of me wonders who would have then taken Boki's spot on the wing, and realizes how Carter's injury hurts us more than we may think.

I wouldn't think in absolutes. It can be a mixture of bad playing and bad coaching.

    Isnt he payed 6mil a year?(Idk)

And yes jarkid, you can bash players, but methinks all this aggression should really be placed on Frank, not Collins. Collins may have fucked up in the fourth but Frank was pretty much bad for most of the game with his decisions.

Also, we need an enforcer and its coming in the form of Williams, but he is still young/inexperienced to make a Kmart like impact yet. Magliore, though known for these qualities, isnt going to get the job done consistently. Allen is garbage, and Boone hasnt improved at all. Krstic is still getting used to the game, so the only big who is doing their job consistently is Collins(defense, picking off defenders from our wings, boxing out so kidd cant jet to fastbreak mode). Despite his huge offensive defiencies, he is the only big doing his role well(aside fromWilliams, but again experience plays a huge factor).

At least if Magloire was in the game, he could protect the rebound very well, and not to make that turnover to be a four points play. FUCK YOU. This is a sad day for me.. fuck

But Collins' fault for that play, that's for sure. No doubt, if he has protected that rebound well, we are fine now.

Can you just stop defending this fucking bullshit nonsense for Collins?
