Rod Thorn if you really like this team, please waive Collins or fire Frank.

The best way that force Frank not to play Vaughn is not to resign Vaughn.

If you don't want Frank to play Collins, it's just to waive him.

Comon guys its just one game. You have 70+ more games to play, and I'm sure you'll do much better.

Actually, we've had Frank for about 3 seasons now.

Thats right but then you guys had injuries, and stuff like that happened to the team so its not all his fault, the players should be blamed as well for not playing defense, etc.

Yes, but it's obvious when there's coaching mistakes. We call out players when they make mistakes, too...This was just another obvious coaching mistake. Like playing Cliffy. Or not playing Hassan enough, and in the right situations. Or not giving Wright enough of a chance. Or not playing Boonie enough when he's good.

For the umpteenth time, does anyone know what happened to magloire?? Did he run away or something?

This loss really irks me as someone who most of you know was calling for Frank's job last season.

He made the switch to motion offense which I like, he's playing his rookie which I like, and he's managed to find a line up that can lock down defensively.

But we're still turning the ball over way too much. I don't know, I think the sensible thing to do is to not demand his firing after one game, especially this early in the season. But I'll be damned sure I dont' forget about this game.

I've been saying this a thousand times... FIRE FRANK!!! Even without Carter, we should have won this game. What the hell is Collins doing out there?!

He switched to a motion offense which you like. Canwe please remember that in the "glory days" of the motion offense we barely managed to get 94 ppg. And this year its no difference. We've gone from being an occasionally stagnant yet explosive offense last year, to being a stagnant offense that just happens to move around a lot this year. How is this such a good move by Frank? we're averaging like 90ppg, that's not good.

This was another loss because of ****ty coaching. First, he takes Sean out. Sean was playing GREAT.

Then, he leaves Collins in. Why? I don't know. Collins sucked at the end of the game.

Then, he stops going to Richard Jefferson. Why? Because Frank is an idiot. Common sense is to go with your best scorer on those last few plays. Not Nenad, who threw up a ****ty shot and missed a couple free throws.

That was a nice attempt by Wright, tho, if Frank knew how to draw up a play correctly, he might've had a better chance to make that shot.

Oh, and Malik Allen shouldn't have been in that game at all. He was ****ting it up.

On another note, Sean looked great. And there were stretches where we played good defense.

Oh, and why wasn't Magloire in the game..?

You have it right on every count. LFrank is not a good head coach. He can do X's and O's but is LOUSY at the rotation.Every analyst thought that Magloire was a steal and could help. In typical Lawrence fashin, he's not playing. Magloire is DEFINITELY better than Collins and should get minutes. We will never win and never attract good players with this guy as our coach.

He treats players he doesn't like like crap. He is not good enough to do that. His rotation management and substitutions are outright awful but Rod will support him. I wish he would go.

    Thanks, haha. And Welcome, peterInj!

This is something we've known since the 1st full season with Frank...and still, nothing has been done about it. And yes, we all know Rod will support him.

On another note, notice Kidd was pissed, too? Anyone think he'll have anything to say to Frank, Collins, or Thorn?

Hey Peterlnj, welcome to S2! Shoot me a PM if you have any questions about the site.

I alluded to this in another thread, but I feel that even though he kept Magloire out of the game because of his size, he was wrong to do so (although I understand the inital reason for doing so). Magloire is slow, but then again how fast is Collins? Also if Frank was really gung-ho about a fast line up we wouldn't have seen Collins getting as much time either.

i normally do not blame a coach for a loss, but this one falls solely on frank. yeah u can say this player did this wrong and that, but again we have a big lull at go down big, then HE TAKES SEAN OUT OF THE GAME WHEN HE WAS THE DIFFERENCE MAKER! i told my cousin, who came to the game with me, that as soon as sean was walking to the bench i told him this is a very bad move. why ruin something that has been working so effectively? because frank is stubborn that is why. he just cannt trust players who havent been here for years.

i almost jizzed my pants when sean was the first big off the game because i couldnt believe that frank gave in. i think frank wanted to be the one in control and play sean at frank's pace, but sean has played so good and everyone else has played below par except for some good play by mags. sean did NOTHING wrong to be taken out. was he a liability? HELL NO! i dont recal sean making a bone-head play, i did see krstic and twin make some tonight, not the rook.

another thing is that krstic is starting to piss me off. i didnt have high expectations for him because he is coming back and im looking at him in a realistic fashion, but he just cannot hit a freakin jumper anymore. i do not know how the hell he got 12pts today. he will make one jumper, then it will take 8 minutes for him to make another it feels like.

aside from taking sean out, which i think cost us the game, RJ was GREAT today with, i think, 30pts at the end of teh 3rd and we go away from him. i know we dont want to be predictable, but when we are down vince playing a good team where we had to come back KEEP FEEDING THE HOT HAND!!! that is what ticked me off last year and ticked off RJ too. when RJ was hot last year we would still give the ball to vince and fade away from RJ. there was no vince today yet we managed to fade away from RJ again. amazing, fucking amazing.

overall i am pissed as you could tell because 1-we had another solid comeback (the negative part is we needed a big comeback..AGAIN) 2-we were without vince playing a good team 3-we have boston coming up. frank blew this game and instead of stopping the bleeding we have a wound that could get bigger because we are going to boston and i do not expect a win, especially against a good team on the road when we have basically shown that we guarantee to get down by 15pts at some point in the game. this one hurt

xcalibur - You're hitting on the exact points everyone else agrees with. All of that is so true. The players weren't the greatest, but once they started hitting their stride, the only thing that could stop them was a poor rotation decision by Frank...along with bad play-calling.

Frank just proved that Williams should start. It's really annoying to have to watch games while the coach seems more invested in a system than a win.
    conspiracy?
