I have maintained that when Frank was a rookie coach and he had Brian Hill to stand behind him, he enjoyed some success. Brian Hill leaves and the next couple of years show that LFank is not ready for prime time. He is stubborn and does things his own way and is not a good enough coach to treat these guys like dirt.
I don't think Marc Jackson was as bad as he looked but LFrank did not give him a shot. Collins should be a backup. Magloire is a former all start and deserves a shot to start. I am betting that he gets fed up and looks for a trade by all star time. This is really tough to take. This guy is a good lead assistant at best.

You'll find stuff like this in the highlight thread, but I thought that it was relevant here as well

Hm, that could have come in handy, me thinks

1. He didn't use Sean in the end of 4th.-agreed, very bad on frank's part but lets look at the positive here: he was the first big off the bench, which means frank sees his talent
2. He played Collins instead.-Looking back at this, I agree with playing Collins in the 4th, but i dont like the fact he replaced Williams who was having a great game.
3. He didn't set the play for RJ in the 4th.-Agreed, very bad on Frank's part
4. He played Allen over Magloire.--Agreed once again

Damn, what a bad coach he is.
the only one good thing is that he played Sean in the first one off the bench.
....
................................................................
Did you notice what i did?
Sorry, My bad.

Let's start the new question:
Why can't Frank usually stop the bleeding? While we have a large lead, he still has no idea to answer the opponents.

The new answer: His defenseive lineup got us back from 20 digit defecits against Washington and Boston, in fact we won one of those games. Frank is overall a better coach than he was last year, its just that this loss really stings.

QUOTE (ghoti)

And on another note, firing Lawrence Frank would be a completely asinine thing to do. Period.
That guy is all class and a damn good coach to boot.

I agree 459%.
Something to think about - remember when Jason Kidd had a reputation as a coach killer? Where's that been the past 3 years? It's probably the only facet of his game that's faded as he's gotten older..
