It is hilarious that you think mentioning Belinelli is some sort of insult.

What's hilarious to me is that you actually wanted the Nets to draft the Italian Vince Carter.

I'm not sure how you can objectively watch Sean Williams play the way he's played, in the first 10 games of his NBA career no less, and come to the conclusion that he's not a special talent.

If you were arguing that he's due for knee surgery in 2 years, or that he's bound to fall off the wagon into substance abuse, or that he just won't be able to handle the mental work and rigor of an NBA defense, then we'd be talking about a different issue. But the kid is clearly freakishly talented, and all reports out of camp are that he's working hard and taking notes from Collins.

What is it, exactly, that makes you think he's no more than a bench player/mediocre starter?

I'm not going to change my opinion of someone based upon 10 games as that would be ridiculous. Boone had a nice 10 game stretch last season.

Williams is a freakish athlete, not a freakish talent.

Sean Williams is by far my favorite player on the Nets. His defensive timing is amazing and he's fun to watch.
