Nov 13 - The customary postgame meeting between Garden chairman James Dolan and Isiah Thomas seemed to go on longer than usual late Sunday night in New York. Those sit-downs could be potentially harmful to a head coach. But in this instance, the discussion between Dolan and Isiah Thomas could mean the beginning of the end of Stephon Marbury.

A high-ranking team official told the Daily News that Thomas and Dolan have been in talks in recent days concerning Marbury's future. Knicks brass is considering what options it has to reduce Marbury's role or get rid of him entirely.

A person close to Marbury says he is beaten down emotionally from everything that transpired over the summer and through the Anucha Browne Sanders trial and that deep down he would welcome a change of scenery. -- New York Daily News

The Rockets don't have enough shoot first point guards....

The Knicks should just buy him out since money means nothing to Dolan

The only teams who would want Marbury are teams looking to trade toxic contracts back for him. The Knicks should give him the Tim Thomas treatment and tell Marbury to just sit at home and watch the rest of the year.

He's too greedy/stubborn to agree to a reasonable buyout, and I can't imagine anybody would actually deal for him. He's a cancer, he's a blithering idiot, and he's a selfish player that will never make it anywhere in the NBA.

This story is insane. The way Isiah handled this is insane. And I think Marbury went off to play in Italy.
