Baros hints at leaving Lyon

QUOTE

PRAGUE (AFP) - Czech striker Milan Baros raised on Tuesday the possibility of leaving French champions Lyon when the January transfer window opens. "We chatted about it with the coach (Lyon boss Alain Perrin)...," Baros said in an interview with Czech public television, adding that he was certain to have other offers, the CTK agency reported. The top scorer in the Euro 2004 championships has not competed in a first team match since October 2 when he played in the Champions League match against Rangers. The former Liverpool and Aston Villa striker said nevertheless that he would fight to get back his place in the Lyon team. "I like it there, we will see what happens," he added. As well as problems on the pitch, the 26-year-old has been involved in a series of off the pitch episodes, the latest being caught for speeding at the start of the month by French police. The episodes have fueled the impression that Baros is a problem player, the Czech daily Sport reported recently. Baros snubbed most journalists at a training session by the Czech national team in Prague on Tuesday, protesting that it was not worth the effort since they would write what they wanted regardless, CTK reported. The Czechs, who have already qualified for Euro 2008, play neighbours Slovakia on Saturday.

I think they sold him, and yea I agree, I always liked him, the problem was that he couldn't play up to his level when at liverpool.
