Nov 14 - J.J Redick remained on the sideline again Tuesday for the sixth consecutive game. He has been out since suffering back spasms Nov. 5 during a practice in Washington. Even before then, though, he was hardly playing.

He said he didn't expect to be back in uniform until Friday when the Magic play in New Jersey.

"It's frustrating, but there's nothing you can do about it,'' he said after a light workout Tuesday morning. "It's much better now than it was. I was miserable last week. I couldn't even leave the house for three days, and spent most of the time in bed.'' -- Orlando Sentinel

[*]Redick said doctors do not think this back injury is related to the herniated disc he suffered last June just prior to the NBA Draft.

"The MRI showed the disc is actually in better shape than last year," he said. "The herniation is almost nonexistent now, and it's not pinching the nerve anymore. The pain is not coming from the herniated disc, but the consensus is that it's coming from the (spasaming) muscle." -- Florida Today

I watched the Magic tonight for the 1st time and it seemed like every possesion was either a nice play by Howard in the post or a wide open jump shot....Redick is likely salivating when he sees the room Howard, Lewis, and Nelson are getting the other shooters....
