This team sucks, I can tell you , we will be out in the first round or second round again.
Damn you Stupid Vince Carter, how could you make a dunk and sprain your ankle after?
Damn you Marcus Williams, Come back ! Right Now !

Malik Allen should not have gotten 20 minutes. After Boki started sucking, he shouldn't have gotten 20 minutes.
I wonder if Krstic is okay..?
Is it just me, or are we running out of players?
is krstic hurt?
He barely played. You'd expect him to play, being our 3rd best offensive threat out there...17 minutes isn't something I'd expect. He didn't even start in the 2nd half. For some reason, Malik did. Great choice, Frank.
I have a gut feeling he might either be having conditioning issues, or issues with that surgery thing.
ok, so nothing was announced during the game. I also noticed that he wasn't playing. I thought he'd at least come off the bench.
Frank said that by "reading his play" he figured that tonight was not his night. He also said that he could not find any rhythm.
Wright played great defense on Allen all game. He should have been more aggressive on offense though. You have to give credit to Boston. They played great defense. Everything was one on one early on for the Nets. Boki and Allen were terrible as well. At least you could see Boki. Allen was invisible. Kidd looked as if he was dog tired in the 4th. You wouldn't see him lose a rebound and put a hand on his hip otherwise.

Krstic did not play at all in the second half. I wonder why. When Collins was taken out, it was a six-point game. While Collins was in the game, Garnett had two points and three rebounds.
Also, on Wright, he played pretty good defense on Ray Allen. He may have just been focusing on the derfensive end, who knows.

You are really a big fan of Collins, yeah, he only played 9 minutes tonight.
You can keep saying when Collins is in the game, blah blah blah... And sorry, we still lost the game.

we were going to lose regardless since Carter is out. However, with Collins, you don't have to double Garnett, and since Jefferson, Wright, and Kidd are all superior defenders, you should be able to keep Pierce and Ray Allen in check. We beat Toronto in the playoffs in partbecause Collins was able to neutralize Bosh by himself. Let's look at the numbers. When Kidd, Wright, Jefferson, and Collins and [someone] were in the game together, the Nets were outscored just 14-13 in roughly ten minutes. During those ten minutes, the Celtics were 5-12 from the field (42%) and had one offensive rebound. While those four were in the game together, the Nets had four offensive rebounds.
Do the math. How did the Nets do when someone other than Collins was in the game?

However, your anger is mostly misguided. The Nets got trounced tonight when Nachbar and Malik Allen were in the game and Collins was not. The Nets' problem against the Cavs was the same as it is against the Celtics: the second bigman alongside Collins--Krstic, Miiki Moore, Nachbar, Malik Allen, Cliff Robinson (did he even play)?, Boone--is a creampuff and was/does get destroyed.

Excuse me, Collins is always playing with our best players there, he starts with Jefferson and Jason Kidd.
And Malik Allen , Boki were playing with Darrell Armstrong !
FUCK ! I really hate you Collins lovers say:
1: When Collins is on the court, we only .... they only ...
2. When Collins is on the court, we playing so well...
Can I say When I was breathing and Jason Kidd got a triple double, because I helped Jason Kidd with my breathe?
don't give me a FUCK ! When Collins is on the court, it's our best four or three players to make the lead, not the fucking Collins.
FUCK !

jarkid, I understand and appreciate your enthuaism. let's just relax for a bit. we'll take it easy, bring it home on Friday and Saturday and get two wins, regardless of what Collins does. we will get two wins.

Dwight and Lewis will kill the Nets...but Sean and RJ will kill the Magic even more! Miami got blown out tonight, they aren't that good at the moment. we can take advantage of that.

QUOTE (jarkid)

I promise if Collins is playing with the scrubs, his +/- will be -99999999.... -infinite.

I think to get an infinite minus it would be a very long game. I think -99999999 would be if we played Boston and they went on a run for 115 days straight. That's 3,450 games to get some stops. So I guess you're over reacting a bit, but who knows anything can happen ;P
I'm not to disappointed. This team is what it is, an inconsistent sqaud that looks good on some nights and downright dreadful on others. They have no identity, so some nights, you'll see the defesne stand out and rarely you'll see the offense blow anyone away. We have the worst frontcourt in the league, which is pretty much proven.

Kidd cheated off TJ Ford and Calderon to double Bosh and rush back to try and contest the shot but was late which resulted in wide open shots for the Raptors PGs. KG was 8-15 in this game and had a great game before this one when he played in Jersey. The only person Collins has really slowed down on single coverage is Shaq.
