Creepy coincidence: Both teams lost to the Orlando Magic, both Magic teams with a dominant big man.

One loss and you're not as good as the Bulls. They're going to have to go 8-1 for their next 9, just to stay on pace for 72.

no...11 losses and we are not as good as the bulls...as i recollect the 95-96 bulls did not go 82-0

    8-1 is a .888 winning %, which over 82 games is 72 wins.

At 11-2, they're on pace for 69 wins now.

On pace yes but so were the Bulls. We have identical records right now. (we had our second loss a game later than the bulls did)

My friend was showing me some ESPN statistics...anyway they have the Celtics making the playoffs at 55%, winning the championship at like 23% and that they'll go 72-10 at 1.001001110101010110% or something close to it. Thought it was funny.

i wonder how they come up with those numbers anyways... who really has time in a legit job to predict the probability of the Celtics winning 70 games when we haven't even hit Christmas?
