its just mathematical equations that spt out percentages based on a small sample size...and if your record is good enough over that small sample size the numbers will be skewedin your favor...but i really believe we have a GREAT shot to win it all this year

AW - it's still early - but we have had a decent amout of games to draw some conclusions. I am impressed with how quickly so many new players were able to click. KG has blown away my high expectations. Our bench (thanks Danny) is much more solid than people thought. But the thing that really gives me hope for banned 17, and the thing I am most impressed with, is our D. Even with the 3 studs we have, offense can run hot and cold. But if you play smart and intense defense - and have the players with a nose and desire for D, you have a real shot.

Quit hating on Antoine, he may have been a hunk of fat, but he played hard and he was fun to watch. If he could be a cheerleader/11th man I wouldn't mind seeing him off the bench. It will never happen, which is probably good for the team's chemistry.

i dare you to find anyone that plays with as much intensity and heart as antoine does/did...everyone looks at KG and is amazed by the intensity he plays with...they all have awful memories because antoine playes just as hard when he was here...and is it os bad to take 700 3s if you hit 35-40% of them, AND when your coach basically asks you to shoot them

also...he is not fat, and never was...people think he was fat because pat riley suspended him for not being in condition...problem is, pat riley expected him to be at 5% body fat...lets not forget that the dumbass riley suspended posey too or not being in shape...yea he looks sooooooooo fat its crazy [IMG]

Just because KG doesn'twiggle his wayup the court after draining a 30-footerdoesn't mean he doesn't play with intensity. He plays with a lot more than Antoine did. Probably more than anyone in the league. Oh and Antoine made about 30% of his threes to my knowledge.

i never said KG doesnt play with intensity, i said antoine played exactly the same when he was here as KG does...

and, i love when ppl question my knowledge of antoine...your knowledge is wrong...over the 3 years where he shot bt 580 and 645 3s he averages 34.5% from downtown with a high of 37% in 00-01...to compare...ray allen is shooting 34.6% from downtown this year with the celts...im not saying antoine was/is as good a 3 pt shooter as ray allen, im just giving the facts so ppl can get off his back...he was a very good 3pt shooter while he was here

34% is good from downtown? Its average at best. And KG plays with plenty more intensity than Antoine Walker did. KG just doesn't make himself look stupid.
