    HAMILTON, Ontario (Ticker) -- Anthony Calvillo reached a markfew have ever seen, and in the process, led his team to victory.

    Calvillo passed for 310 yards and three touchdowns as theMontreal Alouettes posted a 29-20 victory over the HamiltonTiger-Cats on Saturday.


    The 34-year-old quarterback also became just the fourth inleague history to surpass the 50,000-yard mark, joining a selectgroup that includes Ron Lancaster, Damon Allen and DannyMcManus.


    Calvillo completed 27-of-37 attempts for Montreal (1-2), whichwon its first game of the season.


    He reached his milestone with a 13-yard pass to Kerry Watkinsearly in the first quarter. It was two plays after he tossed a29-yard TD pass to Watkins at the 12:51 mark of the openingperiod, giving the Alouettes a 7-0 lead.


    Watkins hauled in seven catches for 99 yards.


    Calvillo's second touchdown pass went to running back Mike Imohfrom five yards out just 31 seconds into the second quarter,giving Montreal a 14-0 advantage.


    With the Alouettes leading by nine in the third quarter, the14-year veteran found wide receiver Danny Desriveaux from 19yards out midway through the period to increase Montreal's bulgeto 26-10.


    After Hamilton cut the deficit to 26-20 with 10 points in thefourth quarter, Alouettes kicker Damon Duval booted a 27-yardfield goal with 11 seconds remaining to seal the win.

    Jason Mass was 15-of-28 for 211 yards with a touchdown and aninterception, and rookie backup Tommy Chang went 4-of-11 for 71yards and a score for the Tiger-Cats (0-3), who remain the onlywinless team in the CFL.
