... the flip side of the Bulls not playing that badly last night is that it shows just how far they have to go. The Suns didn't exactly bring their A-Game. Nash took a big break, and the Suns played a lot of their second string guys. And then they put in their starters at the end and blew our doors off. In short, they didn't seem very concerned with us, and the results indicate they were right not to be.</p> So how do the Bulls take a major step up? I don't see internal improvement getting us there, we aren't going to have any high draft picks, and we aren't in a position to have any cap room. So this team either needs to get older or get younger to give itself a chance.</p>
Take this answer as raw as it is. The Bulls just have to take their damn mind off of the Kobe trade and PLAY BBALL. The whole purpose of the Kobe trade was to make a "better team." If the Bulls play like that "better team" then there will be no Kobe trade. Phoenix wasn't concerned or tense because they knew that we were mentally inside of a bag of skittles. I guarantee you if they were nervous (they normally would be because they know the Bulls can beat them) and the Bulls played better ball, it would have been a much more competitive game.</p>
I kind of agree with that, but i'm far from sure we'll get anywhere even if they're playing 100% focused. Which I guess is my point. Last night they looked pretty close, but they still looked pretty far away. Right now though, I'll take not looking absolutely awful as a starting point.</p>
This is pathetic. I can't believe this team is playing so bad. Why the hell can't they play a consistent game all the way through? They fall behind, then have some enourmous run and then lose at the end. I can't take it anymore lol</p>
At the rate the Bulls are going, they ARE going to qualify for a lot of ping pong balls. So they may well end up with a great draft pick. Add that to the current roster, and sign Gordon and Deng, and we might be better off starting next season.</p> We really need a post player and we really need a big guard who can play both ways.</p> </p>
I don't suspect we'll actually qualify for many ping pong balls. I'd still be surprised if we missed the playoffs even.</p>
They're basically 10% of the way done with the season with one win. At some point, they should follow the lead of the Spurs and tank for one season to go for a key player in the draft.</p> JMHO</p> </p>
there is no way in hell i'd give deng and gordon anywhere near the max. i doubt any team would if they keep this up</p>
