The way you defend for him is just not acceptable.

    Objectivity?

I could just post the same thing over and over and ignore both sides of the argument, if that helps.

I think it was a mistake to let House go. But since Ratner doesn't want to get over LT, who cares.

Of course, you can, or you are doing it now.

Saying the same thing, and ignore what other people indicate.

Just say how good he is, and point 1 or 2 good thing. Well At least Not and 1...

That's pretty funny. So jarkid, do you think this is a poor way to communicate?

No I'm not. You can't find a post that demonstrates this.

Throughout the entire thread people who don't like Collins as a player, and people who do like Collins as a player have been mentioning the positive things he does for this team. Nobody is saying he's a great player, we agree with you. We're just able to see the positives along with the negatives, something you for one reason or another are unable to do.

So when it comes to reiterating the same point over and over again (for example: Collins sucks! He missed two FT!) and not listening to another viewpoint (for example: Collin's post defense, and a run that the team went on with him in the lineup) it is not I who is posting in this fashion.

Reiterating? sorry, your Post Defense story has been reiterated for 10000 times at least.

You think you are objective. But on the other side, you are not objective.

I already heard too many what you defender want to express, but the bottom line is, his flaws is much better than his merits.

Just like Marc Jackson has his value, then you'd say hey he is not a good post defender, whatever, you are ruling the rule, that's not fair.

I don't think you know what 'objective' means, although it could be that I'm losing something in translation.

I think this is the first time that I've seen you give credit to an opposing viewpoint. It's a lot more sensible to see than to just dismiss something as useless without reading it.

Marc Jackson (I presume we're talking about our former center) had his merits. He was not a good post defender. I don't see why you have a problem with me saying that.

You just don't know why I take a example by Marc Jackson.

Yeah, Marc Jackson is not a good player there overally.

But I can point one thing or two things good from him, ex: solid rebounding, and a solid offensive ability.

but in the end of the story, that won't save him to be a Good player.

Right and I would agree with you.

I'm just saying that it would be frustrating for someone to keep saying "he sucks" "he missed that basket!" while ignoring the good things they do.

And so thats why I think people get frustrated when people wonder why Collins gets playing time, but don't listen to the reasons why. You've now demonstrated that you can look at this subject objectively, and I'm glad. I wish more people could do the same

That's all I was trying to convey all along.

    Also one sentence paragraphs really are annoying;

Now that I think about it.

Collins Defense is the REASON why we got back in the GAME and I'm not talking solely about hack a shaq routine.

This is ridiculous. I've seen this in another thread, and this is a ricoddamndiculous statement.

Collins didn't score much at all. Collins didn't make any great assists. Collins didn't make all the great defensive moves, other than a knock away and a charge.

Kidd made shots, made assists. Wright made shots, made assists. RJ got to the line. Sean finished dunks and made shots at the free throw line. Collins didn't do all that, Collins didn't bring us back into the game as much as the whole team did.

If you really think he did, please explain.

Please bling, have some respect. That's very rude and ignorant to act that way. Jarkid is a Nets fan thru and thru, from
Taiwan, so you must understand that English is not his first language, so he doesn't have complete understanding of it.

Just think about if you were an English-speaking person on a message board full of people from Taiwan. And that you had to learn their language, and attempt to speak their language, with their slang, without full understanding. Might not be all that easy to communicate, now, would it?

Please, have some patience with him, and some respect for him.

This team lacks shooters. The Nets could really use House and Moore right now. Allen is supposed to fill in Moore's role but so far he hasn't been able to show us anything. On top of that, Krstic is still not his own self so they are not able to use him in pick-and-roll situations. if you look at the roster minus Carter, who can you call a legitimate scoring threat? RJ when he is in his groove. That's it. Kidd is very streaky and Wright and Nachbar are confidence players who are up and down. I am surprised that they even scored 70 points. This is just an unbalanced team with almost no scoring options.

The Nets went to two finals with a few inconsistent shooters and no real scoring options.

It just speaks to the poor job they have done over the years building around Kidd.

You would think if anyone knew how to be successful with Kidd, it was Rod Thorn - but whatever his plan was, he failed.

In the playoffs, when teams took care of the ball and the refs started controlling things, the Nets had no way to get a big score in crunch time.

Those were some awesome defensive teams that got to the finals. They had so much pressure on them defensively and they came through when it counted.

I don't think you were that disrespectful.

I love the way jarkid writes and sometimes when he gets emotional his english gets - um - interesting.

Nobody turns a phrase like jarkid, though.

He gave us "The Violent Two Brothers" and that "acid trip induced..." thing. Pretty cool.
