<h3>Bruins look to build on offensive outburst vs. Montreal</h3>

MONTREAL (Ticker) - The Boston Bruins dormant offense may haveawoken.


Boston looks to build on one of its best offensive efforts ofthe season when it visits the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday.

The Bruins, who have lost four straight here, posted a 5-2 winover Toronto on Friday after being held to seven goals in theirprevious five games.


Peter Schaefer scored twice and added an assist in the Bruins'best offensive game since an 8-6 win over Los Angeles on October12.


But things will not come easy against Montreal. Boston has beenoutscored, 8-2, in two meetings this season. The Bruins had afour-game winning streak snapped with a 6-1 loss here on October22 in the last meeting.


Goaltender Cristobal Huet stopped 31 shots, while Chris Higginsand Alex Kovalev scored the first two goals.


Part of the reason for Boston's four-game losing streak here isHuet, who is 4-0-0 with a 1.83 goals-against average in fivestarts against it. Huet stopped 24 shots in Friday's 4-1 lossto Buffalo.


Meanwhile, Boston goaltender Tim Thomas has started ninestraight games because backup goaltender Manny Fernandez is outwith a strained knee. That means the Bruins may give rookieTuukka Rask his first career start. Tuukka, who was recalled onThursday, went 7-1-0 with a 1.98 GAA for Providence of the AHL.
