RJ's been playing HORRIBLE without Vince, so obviously as one can tell, he fed off the attention that VC drew making him a role player. He blew the layup on that last play and he wasn't fouled either.

Also, we could really use Boki right now. One last thing, marcus please hurry back. Gill is worthless.

Uh, no. That just means that a lot of people should get back on the Vince bandwagon

No, time to get on the Carter bandwagon. He makes this team much, much better.

Come one, before when RJ was mashing the league, it was "RJ can carry an offense" I know because I made threads about that but he clearly can't handle attention.

I will say this, I have found new respect for Vince. He means alot

lol I actually agree with everything there. But correct me if I'm wrong, but we were talking about RJ carrying the load while Vince was still in the game? In that regard I do think that RJ could be our leading scorer.

No kidding. This is what the Vince homers have been preaching all along. It is obvious that Carter and kidd open up opportunities for the role players, which Jefferson is. So he was hot when Carter wasn't. He is NOT incapable of a) passing out of double teams [IMG] creating shots for himself and c) dealing with increased ball pressure. With Vince handling the rock, even though Carter's ball handling is also dubious, RJ had to assume none of those roles and "flourished".

Due to the complete torture this season has been to watch thus far, I have trained my mind to immediately forget the negatives (Jamal who? Boki what? RJ = ? And who is this Gill you speak of?) and only remember the positives (Sean Williams. Sean Williams. Sean Williams. Sean Williams.)

Hopefully we have a new starting PF.

I thought Maglorie rebounded well. Atleast he was better then Collins the Stiff.

RJ was one of the big reasons why they lost the game down the stretch....turning the ball over, defensive lapses, missing easy shots.

I agree that it's time to jump back on the VC bandwagon folks. I'm a VC homer myself, and didn't really understand the RJ bandwagoners. Atleast we now have a new starting PF when VC gets back. Should make things a lot funner to watch. Also, having Stiff, and Toine off the bench for defense will be better, as will having Marcus back. The team will be fun to watch come December, so lets hope no more injuries, and LFrank gets fired for being an idiotic coach.

Its easy to take Carter for granted. He is flawed, but he is one of the top offensive threats in the game and the other teams know that. Other teams are also reading scouting reports on RJ and know he is not even a half decent facsimile of Carter and will load up on him accordingly.

RJ is RJ. Vince is Vince. Other teams know us. Either one can have bad nights. RJ set a blistering pace for himself this year and he will have stretches where he gets shut down, especially with our offensive sets. RJ is a great all-around player who can be a go-to for stretches, but can't lead this team for 48 minutes, but neither can Carter.

RJ and the word "GREAT" should not be put in the same sentence together, ever.

Haha. Why? Because he's the current scapegoat?

RJ is our best player right now...period.

As for RJ performing worse with VC out of the lineup...What did you expect? That he'd get even better?

Im sorry but lets be realistic...Jkidd scores 10 pts a game or less our bigs score around 20 pts a game...thats 30 points a game fro 3 freaking positions of a basketball court. If I was the coach of an opposing team I would double pressure RJ and the rest of the team shoot the ball.

    cause they miss.
