Can the Nets play Phoenix style offense?

I was watching the 1st Quarter of a recent Suns-Rockets game and the Suns offense is just amazing. They scored like 37 points in the first quarter.

It's like they all have a singular focus to find the best scoring oppurtunity in the first 8 seconds of the shot clock.

With the Nets offensive struggles, do you think its worth trying in a game playing Suns style basketball? I mean Kidd is probably faster than Nash racing the ball up the floor. He has just as good court vision and passing ability as Nash. He's can't shoot like Nash obviously though.

But can you vision the Nets doing this? Do they have the guys to pull it off?

    Kidd
    Wright
    Jefferson
    Nachbar
    S.Williams

Could this lineup with the mentality of a breakneck offense have success with it? Just constantly pushing the ball and looking for a quick, early good shot? Should they start practising with a 12s shotclock? Does it matter if a guy takes a corner three 10s into the shotlcock than 20s into the shotclock?

The Nets do seem to have the PG to do it, but what about the rest of the guys and then the coach?

It's not likely to happen but I sure am curious to see how it would work for them.

We'd need consistent shooters for that kind of offense, of which we have none.

I think we can score quickly if we continually run a pick-and-roll offense, but if we keep making that a habit of ours we'll be easily stopped.

We have plodders upfront. Phoenix runs with amare and Matrix while we run with Collins and magloire. To play a high octane offense, you need the outside shooting and your bigs to get up the floor to outrun other bigs and score easy points,

It would be nice to try considering we do not need the 37 point quarters considering we like playing defense.

Uhh, last I checked, we have 1 point guard on the roster.

Not sure the most effective way to use him is to run him silly for 45 minutes a night. That might end badly.
