I still want to make the RJ for JO deal at the deadline. Do you?

Well, it would beRJ+Krstic+Mags or Collins.

Salary-cap wise it's better to trade Collins (since he earns more), but I'd still rather trade Magloire, and Indy would probably prefer the expirer too.

The Krstic part you guys probably don't like, since you think that he can get back to his old form. I also hope that he can. But if that happens this season, than there is no way that we can afford to resign him, since he will ask for at least 60mill. And if he doesn't get back to top shape, than he is not worth keeping anyway.

Thelineup, that I'm looking at, for the second half of the season is:

PG: Kidd / Marcus / Armstrong

SG: Carter / FA (?Hassan?? [IMG], Gill should be released)

    SF: Wright / Boki

PF: Sean / Boone / Allan

    C: JO / Collins

That team would be just great!! Strong frontcourt, strong backcourt, and a defensive spacialist shooter at SF. I think that's a contender for the next 4-5 years.

I don't want to pay Krstic,. I honestly wish we had Mikki right now over him but whatever. RJ is expandable if Wright keeps this up and Boki gets his ass together, whichI think he will. Mags is not needed.

People fail to realize how unbalanced we are. We have good wings in our big Three, marcus, Wright and Boki but upfront is where the talent drops off. Adding JO would immensily help in the rebounding departments and no one will ever think of driving the paint with Sean and JO back there. JO was a good player before Kidd, and if you can finish, Kidd will make you that much better, hence Sean. Thorn should immediately be on the phone with Bird trying to sway this deal but if Bird asks for Sean? Hang up

I agree, I would do this trade. We don't need to worry about the defense after RJ's departure, because Wright is a better perimeter defender, he is very tremendous.

And JO + Sean Williams will kill anyone's front court.

If Krstic and Magloire are still playing the same way now then I would be more open to it, but I'd rather get rid of Frank than I would Jefferson.

Is that before or after JON's inevitable knee surgery?

hmmm. from Indy's perspective, I don't see why they would consider a deal with the Nets unless J.O. somehow forced it (don't think he can)....Pacers don't need RJ andno one is going to take on Krstic right now....from my perspective as a Nets fan...I like having RJ on the team, I like watching him play and I like his off beat commentary like when asked how he could get back on the charts when told his play was "off the charts" in the first couple of games this season...I think we should be patient until January to see if Sean and Nenad can give us what we need in the frontcourt....if they can, then no need to bring it JO's expensive contract....it would be very hard for the Nets to fit JO's contract in with Kidd's and VC's

JO's been playing like shit, I'd rather have K-Mart back.

    Collins, magloire, Boone/Malik for K-Mart.

Magloire is an expiring contract, COllins comes off the books after next year so that frees up caproom for them.

JO is out indefinitely he had an MRI today I believe , if I were the GM I would not trade for him , he's a big man with knee issues and the Nets already have one of those

    I'm talking about JO.

I don't know how I feel about that K-Mart deal. Like all Nets fans, I still have that attachment to K-Mart, but he'd put us in spot with 0 financial flexibility.

If O'Neal's injuries are the VC injuries while in TOR, I wouldn't mind making that move. I have hated the thought of moving RJ, but I think O'Neal puts us over the top.

I would make that move if it is Jefferson instead of Carter that stays on the Nets.

You know what would be sweet, is if the Nets could get another team to get involved in a three way trade between NJ and Indiana. Why may you ask? Because right now JO's value is SO, SO low! They've gone undefeated this season when O'Neal HAS NOT played yet stuggle with him in the line up. According to Indiana fans this is because the offense they run is very reliant on shooters and what not so it would be sweet if Thorn could pull off another rip off trade and get O'Neal without giving up one of the big three but rather jus expiring contracts such as Magloire, Malik, Krstic, but of course Collins would have to be involved due to salary but they have no use for him *thumbs down* One can dream though...

    O'Neal
    Williams
    Jefferson
    Carter
    Kidd

That would give Boston a run for their money for sure.

Wait, there are still people that believe JON could help the Nets win games?
