QUOTE

Frank Rijkaard has decided that Bojan Krkic will start for FC Barcelona against Recretivo next weekend in place of Ronaldinho, according to a report in Spain.

The Dutch coach is keen to rest the Brazilian when he returns from an exhausting trip to play for Brazil in the World Cup qualifiers and has made up his mind.

Krkic appeared for Spain's Under-21 side at the weekend and scored and hit the post against Poland as he was voted man-of-the-match.

Now the youngster has returned to Camp Nou to rejoin the small number of players not away on international duty and has a five-day advantage over Ronaldinho.

Rijkaard will use the time to guide Krkic and help him to continue to adapt at playing at the highest level as he looks ahead to the Recre game.

Ronaldinho has struggled with fitness for some time asthe gruelling schedule of last term is still causing him some problems and he has yet to really hit the heights that he is capable of.

Talk of his weight, performances and future at Barça have all weighed heavily on the superstar and Rijkaard wants him to bounce back rather than be forced to play when he is tired.

Krkic has already appeared in eight league games this term, playing a total of 210 minutes, and became the club's youngest ever scorer in la Primera when he netted against Villarreal.

Maybe an indication he is leaving?

But about time he gets his chance in the First team. A Really, Really Big prospect. Seems ti have the intelligence of Kaka and the Flamboyance and Poise Of R'Dinho.

My guess is that its an early indication that they will try to involve a backup for dhino, dos santos would be ideal player for his back-up. Dhino's days are numbered from where I can see, milan is getting the crumbs of what used to be great brazilianplayers, more aged players going to milan, they should instead invest in young talent.

They are like a proving ground for Old Brazilian players. Ronaldo, Cafu and now maybe R'dinho. although they do have the best player in the world, Kaka
