<div class="pre">TORONTO (Ticker) - The Toronto Maple Leafs look to build off a</div>shutout when they host the Boston Bruins in a battle of"Original Six" teams.


Toronto has yielded an NHL-worst 74 goals this season, but VesaToskala made 24 saves and Mats Sundin tallied his 10th goal ofthe season to lead the Maple Leafs to a 3-0 triumph over theOttawa Senators on Saturday.


That was in response to Thursday's 5-2 setback to the Bruins.Marc Savard scored 19 seconds into the game and set up anothergoal for Boston, which has lost four straight road contests.

Savard, who had a career-high 74 assists last season, is off toanother great start. The 30-year-old center leads the Bruinswith 16 assists and 20 points this season.


Boston netminder Tim Thomas will hope for more defensive supportthan he got in Saturday's 7-4 loss to the Montreal Canadiens.The Bruins surrendered 52 shots in that contest.


The Bruins' defense has seemingly vanished this month and it hasshown in the standings. After giving up just 28 shots per gamein the first month of the season, Boston has yielded 38.3 shotsper contest in November. As a result, the Bruins have lostfive of their eight games this month.
