INDIANAPOLIS (Ticker) -- Fresh off snapping a long losing streak,the Indiana Pacers get to face one of the NBA's hottest teams.

The Pacers hope to build off an impressive win Tuesday when theyhost Kobe Bryant and the high-scoring Los Angeles Lakers.

Mired in a six-game losing streak, Indiana halted its skid inimpressive fashion Saturday, rolling to a 117-97 rout of theUtah Jazz.


Mike Dunleavy scored 25 points for the Pacers, who shot 58percent (44-of-76) from the floor and made 11 shots from thearc.


Indiana likely will need another strong offensive performance tokeep up with the Lakers, who have averaged 104 points overtheir first nine games this season.


Los Angeles has managed to eclipse the 100-point mark in each ofits last two games despite a pair of poor performances fromBryant, who failed to score 20 points in both contests.

The NBA's two-time reigning scoring champion, Bryant scored just18 points Sunday, but the Lakers rolled to a 106-78 victoryover the Chicago Bulls.


Bryant shot 6-of-16 from the floor to pace six scorers in doublefigures. Jordan Farmar and Andrew Bynum both scored 14 pointsfor Los Angeles, which has lost its last three visits toIndiana.
