The 39 year old took over as national team boss last year but, despite being on the verge of leading Croatia to top spot in their qualifiying group, he admits that his ambitions may lie elsewhere. "I dream of being a club manager in the Premier League," he told BBC Sport. "I'm not thinking about it right now, but if it happens it happens. Of course I would love it." Bilic is familiar with the Premier League, having moved to West Ham United from Karlsruhe in 1996 before beginning a three year spell with Everton the following season. Croatia need to avoid a heavy defeat at Wembley on Wednesday in order to seal top spot in Group E, while a victory over the Three Lions could potentially see Russia qualify. Regardless, Bilic has already led the Vatreni, for whom he played on 44 occasions, to Austria-Switzerland.
