All things being equal, even with injuries. who do you feel is most at fault for the way the season is panning out thus far. I for one have more faith in a management that brought us Kidd, Carter, Jefferson, and most recently Sean Williams. Besides the initial 13 game winning streak Frank was a part of, there's nothing much more that distinguishes his coaching career thus far besides having arguably the best individual talent on a starting 5 in the past 20 years of Nets basketball. He's not the worst the NBA has to offer in coaching, but he's not, what I consider, in the upper tier of coaches.

If 5 out of 6 bigs can't lay in the ball let alone knock down open jumper and if your guards shoot at 35% you can very well hold them accountable as well as coaches and management.

Management has failed to acquire a legit big man the last three off-seasons. That's the biggest issue, even if Frank is somewhat incapable of coaching.

I just watched the PHX-Kings game, I found that Suns is crazy at offense, Nash pushed the ball quickly. And Barbosa, Marion, Stoudmire, all could score easily.

I think our Motion Offense is flawed, I believe that our players are fine, but the offense scheme is really bad, so Frank can not set a good scheme for our players, but he demands the players must learn how to play under his scheme.

This may be the biggest problem overall with the team. In the the preseason Frank declared that the team would go back to a motion offense. The problem is some of the personnel we now have on the team may not be able to run this sytem effectively. This inablilty to run the offense may also have led to lapses on defense. It has become a system-wide failure and it's Frank's job to figure out what changes need to be made.

The Front Office continues to make poor free agent acquisitions and don't appear to be on the same page as the head coach.

Oh well, it could be worse. The Nets could be stuck with SAR.

While you can't blame everything on fruit magnets, this time you might be right.
