WTF happened to this guy?

It's proven, if you're a FA and you put on a Nets jersey, you will suck.
embedded video - peg

it wasn't as if there were many other teams who were looking to sign Magloire. it seems as if he's going through some sort of physical problems which is bound to happen to those who are abnormally tall and big.

Probably it's in his head: "Frank doesn't give me enough PT to show my potential" and it's not doing good to him. Moreover he is average basketball player at his best.

QUOTE (Jumpman)

Well he did make the all-star team once.

i"m not saying Magloire was never good, but at that time the East wasnt really deep when it came to big men....

When we signed Jamal, Paul Salis had all praises for Jamal but added confidence as his weakness " “The one thing I can be sure of is that I had extreme confidence in Jamaal, and that gave him confidence in himself,” Paul Silas, who was Magloire’s coach for his first three seasons, told the Star-Ledger recently. “I don’t know if it was lacking in other coaches, but that’s probably the main reason. I know this: If he knows you believe in him, he’ll go the last mile for you. He’s as tough as they come, but he has a sensitive side.” http://www.netsdaily.com/blog/?p=363

Just like the last two stops, the young talent alongside him is just better than he is. I agree with Dumpy that a Collins/Williams combo would be far better off for this squad than the Big Cat/Swill combo we're seeing now in the starting lineup. When Nenad gets back in shape and if Boone ever gets his head outa his butt both should be playing over Magliore. Magliore hits people, big deal.
