Lol, you're nuts if you think Bynum is worth Kidd now a days. I was the biggest Bynum opposer, but he's really a different player this year. He's attacking the rim with a passion, and when he does that...there isn't a center in this league that can stop him from dunking the ball. I would involve Bynum in a package for Kidd, anymore.</p> You'd have to convince me to even go after Kidd, honestly. Jordan Farmar is playing with a chip on his shoulder, trying to suppress Crittenton's threat to him. This team is clicking really well, even if we're only about 10 games into the season. I'll take their youth of Kidd's next 2 or 3 productive years...as I think all Laker fans would, now.</p>

If anything for Kidd, I'd Offer Odom, Kwame, and maybe Crittenton...but I think he's still the far better PROSPECT than Farmar. He's also a combo guard. I told you he'd be impressive this year. Last year I would have traded him for Kidd, because I didn't think he took basketball seriously, but his effort this summer proved everyone wrong. Let's just hope that he continues playing with a chip on his shoulder too. The trio of Kidd-Odom-Kobe could have made a serious run in last year's playoffs. But Bynum looks really good early on and I don't see any signs of him regressing like he did last year.</p> The jury still out on Odom (it's becoming a cliche), but I want to see if he can finally put it all together this year and play at an All-Star level. He still doesn't have his legs back yet.</p> </p> </p>
I'm sick of the jury being hung on Odom, he needs to either be efficient or be a half-assed great role player in this league. Once he is fully in condition, it should be much easier for him with Radman being healthy and Bynum being a force.</p>

This isn't a simple case of value, just like Kobe wasn't a simple case of value. Sure Kidd doesn't have a no-trade clause like Kobe, but it is extremely unlikely that Rod Thorn would trade Kidd somewhere he wouldn't want to play.</p> Additionally, Kidd and Kobe have such an impact on their teams that you can't just replace their stats with other players.</p>

After the deal is done then people can go back and figure out if the team overvalued or undervalued their acquisition, but you are what the market dictates you are.</p> </p>

Nets would be dumb not to trade Kidd for Bynum. An old guy with no future for what will be the best center in a year or two for 10 to 15 years continuing.</p>
I'd offer Kwame, Luke, and Vujacic for Kidd + Collins</p> Or Odom, Mihm, and Vujacic for Kidd + Collins</p>
