I don't care who starts as long as the best players log more minutes than scrubs like Allen & Collins.

QUOTE (jerkstore)

we know Frank dosen't

He always has in the past- that's why it's really good news he's learning how to be more flexible. It was all that was holding him back from being a truly great coach.

Another retarded move by the litlle midget, Collins and Allen are going to be picking their asses all game long giving nothing in return except for ****. (LOL think about it)
SW deserves to start frank is just gonna drive him to the bench so he could see his homosexual friend succeed.
Atleast VC is back.

Malik better realize that if he keeps playinglike this (keepmissing wide open shots and boneheaded fouls),Thorn willwaive him. It might be more costly but Chris Webber might be a better fit.

I agree with Luke on this one. The overarching idea that Coach Frank is willing to tinker and try something different is new, and, in the long run, will pay off.

I really didn't see Sean as the problem considering blocks shots are supouse to energize your team. Maybe Allen actually wants to contribute tonight.

Williams needs to be on floor alongside Kidd to help the running game, be Kidd's back side eraser.

according to one of the beat reporters, this move is to better defend against Portalnd's high pick and roll which they run constantly. Problem is that there needs to be balance; you can't focus on defense to the detriment of offense. basketball is a lot like chess in that your peices must play both an offensive and a defensive role, or there will be weaknesses in your game that will eventually be exploited.

What's the difference?

unstop has nailed it twice. Sean should share the floor with Kidd in order to get the best of BOTH players. I also hope to see him in some pick and rolls with Carter tonight, providing Vince plays.

This is called - Lawrence Frank.
He needs to go ! Fuck his ass.
If Vince wants to play tonight, why not to put him with Sean Williams ?

QUOTE (ghoti)

What if Williams plays 30 minutes and Allen only plays 15?

I expect that Williams WILL play a lot more minutes, regardless of whether he starts. But I'd like ALL of his minutes to be subsumed within Kidd's minutes because both players are going to be better when they share the floor with the other. Why take a third of Sean's minutes and spread them over Eddie Gill's minutes and miss out on Kidd and Williams continuing to develop chemistry and understanding of one another? Why not put Williams with the players who are apt to get the most out of him, minimize his mistakes, and make the game easier for him? Why not put the best defensive catalyst for the up tempo game (Williams) on the floor at the same time with the best offensive catalyst (Kidd)? The whole of those two is greater than the sum of the parts.
Allen. on the other hand, can clang jumpers and get beaten by opposing 4s on anyone's watch.

He's very familiar with our pick-and-roll oriented style of play (although he gets the ball on the roll .0000000019% of the time)
But...Malik!?

I think Area 51 is the steal of the draft and will be a beast but IMO he does better as the first big off of the bench. He comes into the game and doesn't just block shots, he destroys them and embarassed players to the point where nobody is commin near the paint. I say start Kidd Carter RJ Magloire and Krsic. I do want Sean to play with Kidd but I would much rather him on the floor with Marcus when he's healthy. Marcus threw a bunch of alley-oops to Boone last year that Boone couldn't even get but I guarentee even if Marcus throws it to the roof Sean will go get it. Marcus Wright RJ SWAT and Nenad or Boonecould be a dangerous future lineup n a damn good second string later in the season if we keep RJ on the floor.

By the way this is random.. But is it just me or is Nenad the only 7'0 that can't even dunk?? I know he's commin off a bad knee n everythin but if ur 7'0 idc if you don't have a single leg muscle dunk the damn ball

QUOTE (NJNETS51)

I know he's commin off a bad knee

looks like you answered your own question
