Is done. Let's face it. The duo of Kobe and Lamar has not worked, it's time to move on. Hopefully this management will finally figure this out and will try to move Lamar elsewhere, if that's even possible. The guy's trade value is probably the lowest it's ever going to get. I'm just done with Lamar.

It's the same thing every single season. He shows up for some games, takes some games off. We can't have that on our team, especially when he's being referred to as our "second option." The guy just seems depressed to me. He seems completely down on himself (juding by the "I am a bum" comments), and still seems depressed about the loss of his son (though I can't blame him). But either way, if he is not mentally fit to play the game, I think he should just call it quits and not play at all. Judging by the guy's body language on court, and when he's on the bench, he just seems disinterested. He doesn't seem happy to be here. He doesn't seem happy to play basketball. And based on a couple of interviews I've heard from him, he just seems depressed. I don't know if he actually is, but that's just how I've interpretted his body language.

It's sad because I actually had high hopes for this guy coming into the season. I actually thought this might finally be his year. I mean, he sure as hell talked a huge game, by shaving a freaking star into his head, saying how this will represent me being an All-Star or whatever. Now I know it's still early on in the season, and he's only played a couple of games so far, but he hasn't looked good at all. I mean, he scored 4 points today. 4 points for a "second option." He isn't even doing much better than Luke Walton at this point.

Maybe he just needs some time off or something, because he's hurting this team more than he's helping with all these stupid mistakes and all these wasted opportunities when he just decides to jack up threes instead of using his height as an advantage to post up a smaller player. The Bucks game was a perfect example. He had mismatches all game long, yet he never chose to exploit them.

Hopefullyhe gets himself straightened out soon. His recent performances have been atrocious, and that's just me being nice. He's getting paid 14 million dollars a year, and he's crap. It's not like he can't be a great player, he can. He has all the skills and talent in the world, he just never works hard; he just never cares. He hasn't shown a single ounce of improvement from his first season as a Laker, to now. Actually, he hasn't improved at all ever since his rookie year, and I would know because I used to be a big fan of his when he was a Clipper. He's virtually the same exact player as he was when he was a Clipper. If anything, he's regressed.

I've never believed in him, he's very inconsistent, not areliable player to get an average ammount of points per game, they should have never accepted him in the shaq trade, he's clearly garbage player, robert horry was less blessed from the agility dept but managed to be a more reliable player and clutch player for us in his laker days, this guy needs to go before he gets any older and his value drops even lower.

My question is, whatever happened to that Lamar Odom we saw in the first half of last season, before he got injured? Now that was the Lamar Odom we all wanted. That was the true second option we were all looking for. He was aggressive, scoring, attacking, rebounding, making plays, and most importantly, consistant! Whatever happened to that Odom?

okay, odom needs to go. so where do we send or more realisticaly who will take him? i doubt anybody wants an overpaid, injury prone foward who is terribly inconsistant. Odom sucks alot of balls when it comes to playing well, we need to either bench him, release him or find someone to trade him to. Odom, as we know, is also extremely unhappy with his play, maybe he will ask for a trade or ask to be bought out, who knows? does anybody have any good, realistic trade scenarios that we could make for odom? Because i sure dont.

I wonder if the Lakers are shopping Odom around because he's acting similar to the way he did the last two years his name came up in trade rumors. He couldn't handle it mentally and went into a funk until the organization sat him down and told him "your our guy."

He calls himself a bum after the Milwaukee game and follows up a piss poor effort, with an even worse performance against the Celtics.

4 points and 4 turnovers in 31 minutes! That's pathetic!

We traded the wrong guy for Kwame Brown.

Boston offered us Paul Peirce for him before. But I doubt they'll do that now. And PHX offered us Marion.
