MILWAUKEE (Ticker) -- Michael Redd found his shooting stroke, spelling doom for the visiting Dallas Mavericks.

Redd scored 27 points, including five free throws in the finalminute, to lead the Milwaukee Bucks to a 97-95 victory over theMavericks on Saturday.

Mo Williams suffered a mild ankle sprain but returned to thecourt and ended up with 19 points in 41 minutes, and AndrewBogut chipped in 16 and 14 rebounds for the Bucks, who have wonfive in a row.

"I got some days off," Williams said about the ankle. "I'mgoing to relax on it. It was both mine and coaches' decision tocontinue playing. Anytime there is an injury, it's always theplayer's decision. I know this team needs me and, if I can helpthis team, I will be out there."

Redd finished 7-of-11 from the floor and 12-of-15 from thefree-throw line to secure his fifth straight 20-plus pointoutburst. The All-Star guard put his team on top for good whenhe drilled his only 3-pointer of the game to spark an 11-5 run, which left the Bucks with a 92-87 advantage with 34 secondsremaining.

"That's one thing I wanted to stress to the team," Redd said."The sense of urgency is now. I don't want to wait untilJanuary or February when we have to turn it on."

Redd's big night helped Milwaukee stave off a 3-point barragefrom Dallas guard Jason Terry, who finished the game with 21points, including six shots from the arc.

"He came up big," Mavericks coach Avery Johnson said of Terry."I talked to him at halftime when he was hesitating a little bitand he came back and had a big second half. He made some shotsdown the stretch and hit some big threes. He made some reallyterrific basketball plays for us."

Terry made five 3-pointers over the final 4:16 but missed achance to tie the game with 11 seconds remaining and theMavericks trailing, 95-92.

"I was wide open, had a great look, (it) just didn't go down,"Terry said. "Shooters keep shooting and that was my mottotonight. You better believe next time I am in that situation, Iwill let it fly."

In a tight battle in which the largest lead on either side was a20-14 advantage by Dallas in the opening quarter, Milwaukeebroke out for 35 points in the final quarter - overcoming a66-62 deficit entering the quarter by running off a 10-2 spurtto open the the period en route to a four-point lead.

"They made a few shots and got a little cushion there," Johnsonsaid. "We had a couple of defensive breakdowns and missed a fewshots. Our guys fought hard tonight and we just came up on theshort end of the stick tonight."

Terry's heroics brought the Mavericks back, but Redd was justtoo much at the end.

"All in all, we didn't get the crucial stops and that cost usthe game," Terry said. "This is a learning experience and as aveteran team this is not a concern but needs to be corrected."

Josh Howard scored 24 points and Dirk Nowitzki chipped in 20 inthe losing effort for Dallas, which dropped both ends of aback-to-back - losing at Indiana on Friday night.
