CLEVELAND (Ticker) -- Just call them the new "Kardiac Kids."

After splitting two road games that were decided in the finalseconds, the Cleveland Browns return home to host the HoustonTexans on Sunday.


After years of bad football along Lake Erie, the Browns (6-4)are thinking playoffs. They enter the final six games of theseason tied with the Tennessee Titans for the final wild cardspot in the AFC.


In 1980, the original "Kardiac Kids" saw 13 of their 16 gamesdecided in the final two minutes. While the current Browns havea ways to go to equal that craziness, they have experienced awild season.


Cleveland has two overtime wins in the last three weeks and hasrallied from behind in four of its six victories.


The Browns will be hard-pressed to duplicate the bizarre finishin last week's 33-30 overtime victory at Baltimore.

Phil Dawson's 51-yard field goal at the end of regulation wasoriginally ruled no good after it hit the upright and bouncedback into the end zone. The Ravens' players went to their lockerroom thinking they had won the contest.


But after a lengthy delay, the officials counted the field goalafter replays showed the ball hit an extension behind the leftupright before bouncing back.


Dawson then kicked a 33-yard field goal in overtime, giving theBrowns their fourth win in five games.


"I think your team being able to win some of those close gameslike that says that they are maturing and they are able to makethe plays that they need to make to win the game," Clevelandcoach Romeo Crennel said.


However, the Browns can't look past the Texans (5-5), who havewon two in a row to reach .500 after 10 games for the first timein the franchise's brief history.


Last week, the Texans got a huge lift from wide receiver AndreJohnson, who had been sidelined since Week Two with a kneeinjury.


Johnson caught six passes for 120 yards, including a 73-yard TDin the Texans' 23-10 win over the New Orleans Saints.

Quarterback Matt Schaub also returned after missing a game witha concussion and completed 21-of-33 passes for 293 yards and twotouchdowns.
