It's a strange twist but it seems to be working. three straight wins. imagine if we did that all year like the Spurs are doing with Ginobli.

Fuck that, Vince needs to be back in the starting line up. There's a reason why the Nets are always down 10 plus after the first or even sometimes half way through the first.

No there not. With the exception of yesterday, the nets usually start off well but falter in the second and third quarters

i like vince coming off the bench because he brings something nobody else can bring, but i also am loving wright's defense right now. if we can i would like to go kidd,vc,wright,rj,big but that wont happen. eventually vince will replace wright, but there is NO RUSH right now.

then again, it doesnt really matter if vince starts or not, it depends on the minutes he gets, just like sean. if vince's ankel is still not 100% then i dont want him replacing wright because then either vince or rj has to defend the other teams best scorer which means they could pick up some quick fouls. rather have wright play tough D and let him pick up the fouls than vince or rj.

right now, i wouldnt change anything for the memphis game. even though in this game u could start vince and put rj on rudy gay and let vince guard mike miller. but if a team has a main superstar like kobe, then i want wright on that superstar

Right now it's a great move because the second unit has no playmakers or guys that can get their own offense. When marcus is ready i think VC will be back in the starting lineup. I think we've missed marcus a lot this year, say what you want about his defensive shortcomings but he can pass and is not afraid to shoot the ball. he also had a good effect on guys like boki, wright and boone last year.

I think it should depend on the matchups. Antoine Wright's defense was huge for the Nets last night defending Kobe. I don't think VC would have had the same success. Wright should be in the starting lineup against the elite scoring guards. This allows the Nets to maximize VC on offense with the second unit and with SWAT on the court with him he has someone to contest a shot when Vince gives up dribble penetration.

The logic here is great, but sadly it will most likely not be utilized once he is 100%.

Yea, this would probably be the best move with Marcus close to returning, gives them that creator off the bench.

Vince is a great scorer and while antoine is a good defender, having vince in the game always gives us a better shot at winning since he's just an overall better player. besides, vince has played much better d this year than I've ever seen during his career, before he went down he was playing tremendous defense when he was struggling offensively. the difference between vince's offense and defense isn't so large in my opinion that Vince shoudl come off the bench for wright. Wright still can't create for himself or others even half as good as vince can.
