Awesome main event concept. I don't recall it ever being used in WWE or WCW.

Anyone else following along w/ this one?

I've tried to watch TNA a couple times but I never got too involved with it. What are they doing with the main event?

Champ (Kurt Angel) w/ their junior level champ (Saoma Joe) vs tag team champs (Dudley Brothers).

Whoever gets the winning pinfall gets the title of the guy pinned. If Joe or Angel pin the Dudley Brothers, they get to pick a tag team partner of their choice to defend the tag team titles moving forward.

Main event? No clue, but the PPV started already.

Oh yeah, Angel has 2 belts already. He beat Brock Lesnar in Japan a few weeks ago. Don't recall the title or fed.

WWE did something like this at a Backlash once. It was Kane and Undertaker vs. HHH and Stone Cold.

I kind of watch TNA on and off. It's sort of inconsistent. I'm able to get into it for a while and then it gets boring. I wish Impact would go to two hours. That'd probably help a lot.

Yeah, it's too short. With their light road travels, they should ask their wrestlers to go longer for their broadcast.

I was really impressed with how their their championship match leading up to Victory Road was a whole program. That was awesome. Ending... not so much.

Yep. This was done with Stone Cold (WWF Champ), Triple H (IC champ) vs. Kane and Undertaker (Tag Champions). Stone Cold and Triple H won.

I think this type of match is too predictable. I could never see them putting the World title on Bubba Ray or D-Von, or the X Division championship. I think Angle and Joe are going to be the next tag champs.

I'm saving my money for the Bash.

Didn't know about the WWE version, did they all the winners of the tag team belts to pick who they wanted to defend the belts with?

Yeah this was done a while in WWE.

Chris Jericho vs. Benoit vs. Kurt Angle (IC and Euro Champ)

It was kind of different though. 1st pin was for the Euro title and 2nd one was for the IC title so the champ didn't have to get pinned to lose it. I believe Angle lost both without getting pinned, it was hilarous watching him clompain about it later on.

I believe they took it away because a few weeks later he got his big puch to main eventer.

No that's the difference I guess. So who won? Angle?

Angle had it won, but his partner took him out and stole the pin. Joe is now the X Division and Tag Teams champ. I think putting the X Division title on Joe will be a mistake in the long run as who is going to take it from him now? Joe is a main eventer.

You could put it on whoever you want. You could just have Angle interfere and screw Joe out of the title when it's on the line.

But none of the titles are on the line.
