It was just the third loss in 14 games for the Suns this season. Davis drilled a three-pointer for a 110-96 Golden State lead with 9:33 left, and then it was the 'Monta Ellis show.' Ellis nailed a 17-foot jumper to begin his run of 15 straight Warrior points, ending the team spurt with a driving layup with 3:36 left for a 125-110 margin. Al Harrington tallied 14 points for Golden State, while Amare Stoudemire and Grant Hill each scored 17 for Phoenix. The Warriors used a 14-5 run to expand to a 39-28 lead in the opening quarter. Davis capped the flurry with a three-pointer and Golden State led by eight going into the second stanza. Golden State never lost the lead after that, moving ahead by as many as 14 in the second at 72-58 on a Kelenna Azubuike free throw. It was 72-63 at the half. The Suns couldn't keep up offensively in the third and were behind 103-92 going into the fourth.

Source: NBC11.com

Well, now we know who the leader/MVP of the team is. I don't care how much trouble Jackson is, he's a real balla.

QUOTE (CohanHater)

Welcome back bandwagoneers.... I hate to say it, but I started to miss them

Ball movement was excellent. Teams that move the ball for higher % scoring and manage to play some defense and do some rebounding, usually win.
But the coolest thing was our best dribble penetrators and distributors were just lighting up their defenders and scoring off the dribble in the painted area or from midrange. The Warriors didn't get three happy and that was a good thing because they've been terrific inside the three point line as long as teams don't bump em too much.
Monta had a good night because he knew Nash couldn't stay in front of him so he had to play back on his heels a little. This left Monta the ability to just drive hard and then pull up with enough space on the retreating defender to fire a midrange shot. We know with Ellis, the driving pullup jumpshot or the running floaters is a lot better than his set shot.
Then Sjax was just pro. He was knocking down the most important shots of the game (as in the wide open ones). We have some guys on our team that can't knock down open jumpers, but Sjax has been the most reliable when it comes to shooting. Plus, he's similar to Nick Van Exel in a way where you don't really mind him bricking because he usually shows up when it matters and he'll try to get the inside big man involved if he's there. And despite his sometimes sloppy ballhandling skills and high risk play, he usually making the smart high-risk play that makes the team even better. When we have small forwards like Pietrus, Richardson, and Azu posing as shooting guards, it's always good to have a tall small forward that behaves like a shooting guard and can actually play shooting guard on some matchups.
