Sandro is Varejao's older brother, who is now working for Fegan. </p> "It was inaccurate to say I went down there to make him sign a contract," Ferry said Monday. "That's totally incorrect.</p> </p> "I told him we are not paying him $10 million a year. My conversation was, 'You have to share the risk. You can take a shorter deal or a longer deal. I'll work with Dan (Fegan). A month later, he lowered his demands to six years and $52 million. 6 years for $52 million is a joke. Basicaly $9 million per year - it's absurd. There are better things for us to do with that sort of cash.</p>
I don't have any idea why the Cavs are even listening to this clown. He is NOT worth anywhere near 10 million a year. In my opinon I wouldn't pay him a cent over 5 a year, and thats generous. I've said it before I'll say it again, there are tons of energy guys out there who will play their heart out for much much less than Varajao.</p>
