QUOTE

Scot Pollard has been productive when given the chance of late.

In addition to his physical defense, he had five rebounds in seven minutes against Miami, four boards in nine minutes against Golden State and made 5-of-6 free throws in 11 minutes against Charlotte.

"I thought the last couple of games he has been fantastic," said coach Doc Rivers, who had broader praise for his entire second unit.

"We went a stretch in the second quarter (against Charlotte) with all the Big Three sitting down. "I think he's been fantastic" -Doc Rivers?Really Doc, then why the heck is he constantly on the bench?I know he's still getting back in shape, but Doc you're just bad.
I don't see the problem, aquaitios. I agree he was stupid for going small for nearly the entire second half on Saturday, but I think Pollard has been playing the minutes he should be playing - around 10 a game. The 1 minute against LA makes sense, too, because Perk was playing so well and Bynum was in foul trouble all night - so we weren't desperate to put Pollard in to bang around with him.
He's not healthy yet, he's still moving pretty poorly - but I definitely like what I've seen. He has been just what I thought, a serviceable big body to throw in there for 8-10 minutes per game.
We'll need him tonight, though.

I don't care, what big man is in there, as long as one is in there. And yes, I do agree about Pollard, he does his time.

Alright, now tonight Pollard should have played a hell of a lot more than 5 minutes. I hated that Doc put KG at center on Big Z at times. Pollard should have played 12-15 minutes tonight, in my opinion.
