Keys to the Game:

Defense Defense Defense: Wizards did a great job slowing down the Mavericks perimiter shooting and defense lead to offense. Tommorow night will be an even tougher challenge as we will most likely have to double team Duncan and at the same time try to stop the Spurs perimiter scorers like Parker and Ginobili.

Role Players: In the first couple games without Gil, guys like Blatche and Young were really stepping up and taking big roles. Now it seems like nearly all of our production is coming from Caron, Antawn, and Antonio. I'm hoping for Songaila, Stevenson, Blatche, and Young to be able to contribute this game because we know that San Antonio can contain a team completely if only a few of them can produce on offense.

    Key Matchup:

    [IMG][IMG]
    Caron Butler vs. Bruce Bowen

We all watched the finals last season and we all saw what Bowen did to LeBron. Caron will have to be able to get consistent baskets if this team wants to win. So it's simple as this, if Bowen can shut down Butler the Wizards have no chance but if Butler goes off like he has the past couple of games, we'll be giving San Antonio a fight.

Prediction: 97-94 Wizards. It will be very difficult for us to win this but I'm definitely not going to predict a loss in a game thread so there's your score. I want to see more of how this team performs in the clutch without Gil anyways.

    Going for 2 straight
