QUOTE

Marcus Williams got a clean bill of health after an x-ray on his right foot Tuesday, and he says it’s a lot less sore than it was a few days ago. Still, the 6′-3″ point guard’s return doesn’t yet have a date attached. He has been shooting, running in a straight line. Next up: working on on a daily basis, then practice. And the backup’s backup Darrell Armstrong says he is still weeks away.

I wonder how his shooting's been so far. And how in shape he is right now.

Also, Dave answers someone's questions about Marcus/DA when they return:

QUOTE

Dave: What is the projected time frame for Armstrong and Williams to be back? How do you see Frank using those two in the future, and do you think Williams (M) will be able to take the next step? Finally, it seems Magloire has taken a back seat behind every one of the bigs. I am kind of waiting for a blow up or a McInnis moment. What's up with his psyche and his mood in the locker room?

G: I'm not doing the game tonight - DW is handling it - but I'm sure they'll let us know when Marcus will be back at practice. My guess is Friday, with a possible play date next week. Darrell is still weeks away, and when he gets back, I think it's entirely possible that Marcus will have nailed down the job and D.A. will have to become a specialist (trapping unit, small lineup, etc.). As for Magloire, he is asked daily how he's doing, and he always gives the same response: As long as the team is winning, just fine.

According to the article he is still experiencing swelling on the foot. I've been doing some reading and its not uncommon or cause for alarm but its a bit odd that its lasting this long.

Magloire is becoming smart, if he keeps complaining the situation, Lawrence Frank won't play him anymore.

Maybe somebody advised Magloire by something.
