Upset with his parking service, Heat guard Henry ''Smush'' Parker pushed the valet podium and later tussled with a female attendant for his keys, Miami police said Wednesday.

Parker does not face charges, according to Miami police.

According to an incident report, this is what happened:

About 9:50 a.m. Tuesday, Parker asked for his car keys at a condo building at 355 Biscayne Blvd. The attendant got the keys and asked for $12.

Parker insisted he had paid the night before.

The attendant said there was no record of a payment. An assistant manager agreed. With no cash on hand, Parker asked for the nearest bank -- but not before knocking down the valet podium, according to a police report.

When he came back, Parker was told he would have to pay for the damaged podium.

''The suspect became upset and grabbed the victim by the arm in an attempt to get his keys. A witness then intervened and separated the two,'' according to a police report.

Parker was deactivated for Tuesday night's home game against Charlotte. The team said he was sorting through legal issues but did not elaborate.

Some of the reader comments are equally as hysterical.

Seems like a great guy. He should be happy to be making tons of cash for sitting on his butt and missing ill advised shots. I'm surprised he hit the podium, I think that raises his shooting percentage by Siko

I get robbed of $20 for parking every time I go to a Heat game, but I don't beat up the parking attendants. I also don't make million$---we need Smush like we need Ricky Williams. Get rid of both!!! - Pat's Spat O'really??

If he was that agressive when he's on the court, maybe he'd be a starter. - Maca

Smush is a tush. Kinda ironic that his name is "Park"er. Guess he's just not a "Pay"er. - Parker but not Player

QUOTE

Miami Heat Coach Pat Riley said G Smush Parker would be inactive while the team investigates an allegation that Parker twisted a woman's arm during an argument over a valet-parking fee.

Parker wasn't at practice Thursday and didn't accompany the team for its game at Boston tonight. Riley later issued a statement saying that Parker would be away from the team until it completed its own investigation of the incident.

"He has not been suspended and is currently on our inactive list," Riley said in the statement. "This is a legal matter and we will have no further comment until the legal process runs its course."
