Me either. Not even for the pics that we've seen. Just the preparation Ledger has done for this role makes me think it's gonna be a mind blowing performance.

Look at that face, man this is going to be a kick ass film. My only worry is if people are going to overhype it.

What he said in an interview. He also says it in that one for that magazine too. "I sat around in a hotel room in London for about a month, locked myself away, formed a little diary and experimented with voices … I ended up landing more in the realm of a psychopath — someone with very little to no conscience towards his acts. He's just an absolute sociopath, a cold-blooded, mass-murdering clown, and Chris has given me free rein. Which is fun, because there are no real boundaries to what the Joker would say or do. Nothing intimidates him, and everything is a big joke."

What the hell? Looks crazy to me.
Is Christian Bale gonna be in this one too? The last one was pretty cool, a step up from the previous Batman's that freaked me out.

http://movies.yahoo.com/slideshows/generic...darkknight.html
More official pics! The Bat Bike looks awesome!

lol @ Bat Bike. That is so corny, but hopefully the film will be as good or better then the previous one.

I can't wait. Initially, I hoped they'd go with the guy who played the albino monk in DaVinci Code or Adrien Brody. I did read about Ledger's approach and it should be a phenomenal movie. 7/18/08 can't come soon enough.
It will be real hard to top Jack Nicholson as the Joker IMO. "This town needs an enema" lol.
They are basing it on a graphic novel (The Long Halloween) and will introduce Two-face... not the silly version Tommy Lee Jones played.
As I understand, the 3rd Batman (Bale/Nolan) will be Batman v Two-face.
I hope they bringin the Riddler at some point &can do w/o Catwoman or Penguin.

I like Riddler, Catwoman, and Penguin, but those characters to me were better off in Tim Burton/Joel Schumacher films.
The Nolan franchise to me seeks to portray the characters as dark and twisted as possible, and the world they live in as unforgiving and cold. I'm not so sure how well those three would look.

Trailer was released. Looks awesome. And Ledger looks/sounds incredible http://www.atasteforthetheatrical.com/deathtrap/default.htm

Officialy Hyped about this now. The Joker looks proper now. Jack Nicholson played the Joker excellently in the original Batman but he looked stupid. That new pic is what a guy would really look like had he fallen into a Vat of acid
Some big stars in it aswell. Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman,Heath ledger (From Knight's tale lol) as well as Christian Bale of course. AND Chucky VeniceA.K.A Curtis Alexander from Dream Team. Yay.

In a way, its probably better that they did. They gave Schumacher carte blanche IMO and he "destroyed" the franchise for a few years. Riddler would be the best bet.
