Sure, it's the same story every season, but they disappoints the fans every year.</p> Scary in the playoffs? I believe they could still beat the Raptors or Pacers..</p> But Could they please just win more season games to build their reputation?</p> The Nets never win the respect, because they are too weak. So the NBA Writers don't think they are really that good.</p> If Vince Carter could play 35 - 8 - 8 every night, I think the NBA would still hype him very much.</p>

For the Nets to be the 5th seed, they need better bench production, less Kidd minutes and someone other then Sean Williams playing down low. I think a guy like Webber, who is old yes, can help more then Malik Allen can and has a better jumper. I think this team is better suited for the playoffs than the regular season. Need more shooters though.

Raptors are a great regular season team. They have the personnell to match that statement, come playoff time, they're a dud. Also, with Bosh having groin problems, I don't forsee them getting better this year. Those type of injuries linger for an entire season.</p>
