Gabriel Agbonlahor believes that Aston Villa should be confident of when they face Arsenal this weekend, but admits that it will be a tough task.

The Villains have won four consecutive league games and are on their best run of form for seven years, while the Gunners are unbeaten in the Premiership since March.

Martin O'Neill's team's form has lifted expectations around Villa Park and Agbonlahor hopes that his side can keep their impressive run going on Saturday.

Arsenal will be a tough proposition, however, and the 21-year-old understands that he will have to be his best to trouble the visitors' rearguard.

"Look at their defence, every single one of them is quick. It's a tough test playing against them but with the players we've got, we've got a decent chance and confidence is quite high," he said.

"But they are really a very good team who have won The Premiership lots of times so it's going to be a tough game."

Agbonlahor is set to recover from a gashed foot to play in the encounter and should be joined in the squad by Stiliyan Petrov, as he has shaken off an ankle injury.

Quite honestly, I was fearing for our lead on the whole second half, we played like shite and were constantly getting bombarded by Villa, we were lucky to excape with a victory, hope Rvp can be ready for next game.
